Nature tours of East Kazakhstan.

The territories of the Begenevsky, Borodulikhinsky, Bukebaevsky, Dolonsky (without floodplain forests), Zhanasemeysky, Kanonersky, Morozovsky, Novoshulbinsky, Semipalatinsky (without floodplain forests) branches belong to the steppe latitudinal-geographical zone.
The State Forest Natural Reserve “Semey Ormani” is located in Beskaragai, Borodulikhinsky, Zharminsky, Urdzharsky, Abaysky, Ayaguz, Tarbagatai regions of the East Kazakhstan region and the lands of the city of Semipalatinsk.
Created by decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 75 "On the reorganization of individual state institutions of the Committee for Forestry and Hunting of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan" dated January 22, 2003 in order to preserve and restore the unique ribbon burs of the Irtysh region, which perform important protective functions and have a special environmental, scientific, cultural and recreational value, through the merger of Begenevsky, Borodulikhinsky, Bukebaevsky, Dolonsky, Zhanasemeysky, Zharminsky, Kanonerskog about, Morozovsky, Novoshulbinsky and Semipalatinsk state institutions for the protection of forests and wildlife.
Tape burs are located in the northwestern part of the East Kazakhstan region. The territory of the Zharma branch - to the desert latitudinal-geographical zone. In the steppe zone, in the subzone of dry feather grass and fescue steppes with the growth of tape burs, moose, roe deer, wild boar, wolf, fox, corsac, badger, and pests are common.
Of the birds, larks, gray partridge, steppe eagle, steppe harrier predominate, and waterfowl in water bodies. On the territory of the Zharma branch, argali, lynx, polecat, weasel, groundhog, brown bear are taken into account.
On the territory of the reserve there are animals listed in the Red Book of the Republic of Kazakhstan - black stork, whooper swan, osprey, golden eagle, white-tailed eagle, saker, red-crowned crane, peregrine falcon, snake-eater, red-throated goose, spoonbill, argali.
