"Oguzkhan and sons" (turkmen "Oguzhan we onu ň ogullary" fontan kompleksy) - a complex of fountains, one of the main symbols of Ashgabad. It is located on the highway conducting from the International airport to the downtown.

It was open on June 29, 2008 with participation of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. In 2010 the gushing complex is included in the Guinness Book of Records as uniting the largest number of fountains in the public place.
The architectural and sculptural ensemble represents the legendary ancestor of the Turkic people Oguzkhan sitting with the raised hand on a horse in the center of the fountain and six
is sons: Gyun-hana (master of the sun), Ah-khan (master of the moon), Yyldyz-hana (master of stars), Gek-hana (master of the sky), Dag khan (master of mountains) and Dengiz-hana (master of the sea).
According to the Guinness Book of Records, the complex consists of 27 color fountains working at solar energy makes 14,82 hectares. In the center of architectural and sculptural ensemble there is a statue of the rider - the ancestor of the Turkmen nation Oguzkhan - and six his sons.
