The moraine, flowing lake Upper Demepke is located at an altitude of 3427 meters above sea level in the upper reaches of the eastern tributary of the Demekpe River, is located on the southern slope of the Dzungarian Alatau ridge and the Karaaryk-Tau mountains in the south in the Eskeldinsky district of the Almaty region.
In the upper reaches of the eastern tributary of Demekpe, there is a circus, in which there is a local natural attraction - Lake Upper Demekpe. The area of ​​the lake is 30546 square meters, the perimeter of the lake is 669 meters.
The length of the lake from south to north is 223 meters, the largest width in the northern part of the lake is 156 meters. 3.6 kilometers northeast of Lake Upper Demekpe, Lake Lower Karasai is located at an altitude of 3333 meters above sea level.
Demekpe Lake is located 2.7 kilometers to the west and slightly south of the lake, located at an altitude of 3203 meters above sea level.
