Memorial complex “Tagzym” (translated from Kazakh: Worship) is located at an altitude of 417 meters above sea level, located on Glory Square in central part of town of Satpayev, along Gurby Street, opposite Victory Park, in Ulytau region. 
The Tagzym memorial complex was opened on May 31, 2015, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.Sculptors: A. and M. Kalmakhanov, Komutov J., Balabekov K., Architect: Shakhiev E. The memorial complex was erected as part of the state program for the development of single-industry towns.
In terms of plan, the memorial complex has the appearance of a seven-pointed star like the state award “Khalyk Karagarmany”. The memorial consists of five sculptural compositions: “In memory of the repressed”, “In memory of the rear workers”, “In memory of the participants in the aftermath of the aftermath of man-made disasters”, “In memory of the heroes who died in peacetime” and “In memory of the soldiers of internationalists”.
The statue of a woman with her son, who are holding a plow, was performed by the NGO “Union of Karaganda Artists”. The author of the composition “In memory of the rear workers” is a corresponding member of the Academy of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan Madikhan Kalmakhanov.
The height of the sculpture along with the pedestal is 3.6 meters.
