The "Kyrk Kyz" building located in Termez ("forty girls”) is one of the most famous local attractions which you’ll be seeing during your Uzbekistan tour. It’s a unique building which has attracted the attention of researchers for a long time.
Kirk-Kiz ("Forty virgins"). IX-X centuries. It is a large country estate, apparently, belonged to the Samanid. It had a square plan: around a central courtyard chetyrehayvannogo cgruppirovany in two floors of numerous rooms and connecting corridors.
The facades are equivalent, in the center of each - a deep vaulted aivan, smooth surface walls slaughtered slits of light apertures in the corners - the round tower. Visitors traveling to Uzbekistan consider "Kyrk Kyz" a true epitome of ancient Oriental mystery, because there is a very interesting legend about this place. Local tradition connects it with the well-known national legend in which the princess Gulaim and her forty girls bravely struggled against raiding nomads. 
Building of "Kyrk Kyz" is a square of about 54m each side of raw brick construction. Interesting to know, during Uzbekistan tour you’ll learn, that all corners of the building were protected by strong towers.
There is an inside arched aperture, and also some large windows cut through each facade.
There are two in intersections in the hallways placed on the two axes of the building dividing it into four equal parts. During your Uzbekistan tour you’ll see a little square courtyard in the centre of the building (11.5 x 11.5m). It is covered by a dome (to the mind some scholars, but according to another there was no overhead cover.
The two northern quadrants of the building have identical floor plans. They consist of a group of five rooms that exit onto a three-sided Russian II letter shaped hallway. The southwest quadrant of the building is almost identical. 
It would be interesting to learn that the largest three-pillar room was used as a sitting room in the southwest quadrant of the building. An interesting fact is that the different system of its roofing and style, the design of the bay walls, window frames and doorways are examples of raw brick architecture.
Jarkurgan - Termez, Uzbekistan, Central Asia Travel Jarkurgan is an unique building located in Termez. It is worth to visit during your visit to Uzbekistan. It is uncommon construction with original fluted form, situated in the medieval village of Charmangan, erected in 1109 by the architect Ali b. Muhammad Serakhsi.
It consists of two ties, but only one, the lower tier has been preserved. The shaft of it is very uncommon. It was decorated with 16 half columns, which were fluted skillfully. On the height of 20m the composition of columns was finished in a horizontal design. Unfortunately inscriptions from the Qur'an were not finished here.
However, there was also a band with more elaborate patterns in the shaft, which was not preserved. The original height of the this minaret was about of 21.6m, with bottom diameter of 5.4 m. and top diameter of 4.1m.
Everyone traveling inUzbekistan is very impressed with looking at the carefully done ornamental artwork displayed on the minaret.
