Holidays tour in Bukhara.

The Ulugbek Madrasa is the only structure of such magnitude that has survived in Bukhara since the time of the Timurid dynasty. Ulugbek madrasah in Bukhara, is a single complex with the Abdulazis Khan madrasah.
It was built in 1417, in 1585 the building was faced with majolica during restoration. Madrasa is dual-lined, with an internal mosque and darshan. The facade of the madrasa is distinguished by two-tier loggias and turrets-guldasta.
Above the entrance to the building there was an inscription: “the desire for knowledge is the duty of every Muslim and Muslim.” Ulugbek Madrasa is a rectangular building with a courtyard and a main entrance decorated with a high portal. From the facade a double-decker arcade opens.
There are towers - guldasta. Astral elements prevail in the motifs of the ornament, which can be associated with the worldview of Ulugbek as an astronomer. In the madrasa schools, 80 students studied Arabic, geometry, astronomy and religious subjects from morning to evening.
The study lasted from 15 to 20 years, and students in this madrasa, constantly replenished the ranks of Eastern thinkers and poets. Currently, the madrasa houses the Museum of the History of Restoration of Monuments of Bukhara.
Ulugbek Madrassah was found in 1417, as the inscription on the bronze plate of door runs says. There is a name of master in the portal tympanum, which was building this monument – Ismail ibn Takhir ibn Makhmud Ispfargoni.
It is possible he was a grandson of one of the masters, who had been captured by Timur in Iran and left their names on the portal of Gur-Amir complex in Samarkand. There is a saying carved on the doors of the madrasah: “Aspiration to the knowledge is the duty of each Muslim man and woman”.
Mirzo Ulugbek’s Madrasah has a rectangular shape with a courtyard and the main front entrance decorated with a high portal. The entrance is forked by a cross corridor. There is a library on the second floor.
Walls and arches are decorated very simply.
The madrasah is decorated with ornament of astral character. Bukhara madrasah is the first madrasah, built by Ulugbek. It is comparatively small, but has great forms.
This is a building with two-ayvan square yard, surrounded by two-storey hudjrs, with darskhana cupola halls and mosque on the cross of entrance hall.
