The Aulie Bulak spring is located at an altitude of 342 meters above sea level, located in the northern part of the homonymous tract, which, in turn, is located in a forest stretching from east to west for 3.5 kilometers, 9 kilometers northwest of the village of Balykty, 8 ,1 kilometers southwest of the village of Karagaily, 20 kilometers east and slightly south of the village of Akmyrza, in the Yereymentau district in the southeastern part of the Akmola region.
One of the main attractions of the Sokolinye Gory tract is the Aulie-bulak spring. The water of the spring flows among the rocks through a pine forest mixed with birch pegs, covered with wild rose and juniper bushes. The banks of the spring are rocky with steep slopes.
The spring and tract Aulie Bulak is located on the territory of the Yereymentau branch of the Buyratau Natural Park, in the tract Sokolinye Gory. The tract Sokolinye Gory belongs to the system of the Yereymentau Mountains.
Mount Ortashoky, 450 meters above sea level, is located 1.9 kilometers south of the spring. 5.2 kilometers from the spring to the southeast is the highest mountain of the Sokolinye Gory tract - Zhaushoky, 465 meters above sea level.
3 kilometers to the northeast of the spring there are beautiful, granite remnants of the Falcon Mountains.
