The presented lamps are located in the Kazandyk hall in the mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi and are unique relics. By the beginning of the 20th century, there were 6 lamps of the 14th century in Turkestan, which were made by the order of Amir Timur by the master Izz ad-din ibn Taj ad-din Isfahani.
Parts of the lamp stolen from the mausoleum in 1905 are now housed in the Louvre Museum in Paris, France. In 1935, two lamps and the lower part of the third were taken from the mausoleum of Khoja Akhmed Yasawi to the State Hermitage in the city of Leningrad.
The lamps are decorated with floral ornamentation, engraved inscriptions and inlaid with silver and gold. The inscriptions tell the name of the master - from Isfahan, Iz-et-Din, the son of Taj-et-Din and the year of manufacture - 1397.
