Lake Biryzovoye in Kaznok gorge.

Ecological tour Tajikistan.

“And life is easy, under a backpack
Walk, don't think about anyone,
And there is no glory ahead
And there are only rains ahead"

Specialized tour Tajikistan.

Flowing, dammed lake Biryzovoye, located at an altitude of 3952 meters above sea level, is located in the upper reaches of the Kaznok River, north of the Gissar ridge and in the eastern part of the Zeravshan ridge, in the Fany Mountains, in the Penjikent region of the Sughd region.
The length of the lake from southwest to northeast is 226 meters, the greatest width in the western part is 112 meters. The perimeter of the lake is 617 meters, the area is 19483 square meters. “Far at the top of the gorge, where the river Apr gets the name Kaznok, and even higher, where there is nothing but snow fields and protruding dark rocks, a high-mountain lake, nicknamed by tourists as Biryzovoye, will suddenly sparkle with a bright eye - a blue eye in the snowy desert.
It lives only 3-4 months a year, and the rest of the time it mysteriously slumbers under a deep snow cover and hardly knows people. The lake looks like a mountain flower that blooms in late spring and dies by the end of summer."
