Architectural monuments of Pavlodar region.

“Justice is manifested in rewarding everyone according to his deserts.”

Marcus Tullius Cicero.

Mausoleums of Bayanaul district.

The mausoleum of Mashkhur-Zhusup Kopeiuly is located at an altitude of 347 meters above sea level, located among numerous lakes in the Eskeldy tract, in the northern part of the Kazakh hills, in the Zhanazhol rural district, 16 kilometers to the north and slightly east of the village of Zhanazhol, 15.7 kilometers to the south and slightly west of the village of Beskauga, 47 kilometers southwest of the village of Sluzhon, in the Bayanaul district, in the southwest of the Pavlodar region.
It is known that shortly before his death, Mashkhur Zhusup ordered the construction of his own mausoleum to begin. He was buried there, but in 1952 the mazar was destroyed by the authorities, dissatisfied with the public pilgrimage to the grave. In 1978, the tombstone of Mashkhur-Zhusup was restored.
It is known that during his lifetime the poet predicted his death at 73 years old. During his lifetime he built a grave consisting of two rooms. “When you dig, the earth will go a little deeper and you will find a blue stone, and give it to me without breaking it,” he ordered.
When a blue stone 20-30 cm thick in width and length was taken out from the depths of the grave, the poet Mashkhur-Zhusup Kopeev said:
“The expected stone turned out to be intact, undamaged.”
According to the saint, in the summer months, when the Moon rises, in the morning hours moon rays fall from the sky through the open door to the blue stone, after which a healing substance appears in the soil.
The blue stone is now kept as a museum relic in the poet's museum.
