Mausoleum of Kulymbet Tatybekuly.

Sacred places of Central Kazakhstan.

“We are obedient dolls in the hands of the Creator!
This is not said by me for the sake of words.
The Almighty leads us on the stage on strings
nd shoves into the chest, bringing to the end "

Omar Khayyam.

Ancient necropolises of Kostanay region.

The mausoleum of Kulymbet Tatybekuly is located at an altitude of meters above sea level, located between the Kultava and Kara-Turgay rivers, 346 meters south of the right bank of the Kara-Turgay river, 8.1 kilometers south-west of the village of Kaiyndy, 10.5 kilometers southeast of the village of Kyzylzhuldyz, 18.5 kilometers northwest of the village of Zhanakala on the territory subordinate to the city administration of the city of Arkaly in the southeastern part of the Kostanay region.
The mausoleum of Kulymbet aulie Tatybekuly dates back to the beginning of the XXth century. The building is made in the traditional style of architecture of Central Kazakhstan. Buried in the mausoleum, Kulymbet Tatybekov (1840 - 1913) earned the status of a saint during his lifetime.
He possessed the gift of providence, knew how to recognize and treat diseases, for which he earned the honor and respect of the people. His fame extended far beyond the borders of his native land. He was approached for help not only from all the surroundings, but also from distant outskirts.
Until now, many sick and suffering rush to the burial place of this holy man, with the hope of a cure. In 2005, not far from the village of Kaiyndy, a steppe fire broke out during a dry summer. According to the story of local residents, the fiery element spared no one and nothing in its path.
The wall of fire, rapidly expanding, covered a large area. It seemed that nothing could tame the fire-breathing shaft. The old-timers explain the fact that the fire suddenly died down, having reached the walls of the mausoleum where Kulymbet auliye rests, only by a miracle and the influence of supernatural power.
Restoration work was carried out in the mausoleum 2 times. In 1994, archaeologists from the city of Zhezkazgan carried out repair work, and later the descendants restored the mausoleum.
