Tour of the city of Aktau.
Visit to the Orthodox Church of the Annunciation Parish. The temple was built in 2000. An iconostasis was built and prepared in Moscow. 
Walk along the central city square Intymak.
A visit to Astana Square
in front of the city administration building, where the “Caravel Columbus Santa Maria” Monument is located, is a copy of one of the ships on which Columbus sailed to India and discovered America. The height of the monument is 11.8 meters, weight is 150 tons.
A visit to the memorial sign on the embankment in honor of the fiftieth anniversary of the city, which was installed in 2013 - this is a lighthouse 3.5 meters high - a symbol and a charm of the city.
Visit to the monument to akyn Kurzhanululy Kashagan, which is located near the center. The monument was erected on the 150th anniversary of the national poet of Kazakhstan.
Visit to the monument to the Ukrainian poet and artist Taras Shevchenko on the shore of the Caspian Sea. In the period from 1963 to 1991, the city of Aktau was called - Shevchenko. A bronze monument to the poet was erected in 1982. There are a lot of interesting things in the vicinity of the monument - a beautiful view from the height of the coast on the Caspian Sea, an observation deck, a wide staircase that leads from the monument to the sea.
A visit to the Mangistau State Historical and Cultural Reserve. The museum has a permanent exhibition "Monuments of Mangistau", which is located in two rooms. In this small museum you can see and get acquainted with photo documents that capture archaeological and historical-architectural monuments of the region and exhibits.

Short information on the town of Aktau.

In 1963 the Akatau settlement got the status of the town. The unique warming up oil pipeline is installed here. The galleries of rock carvings of the epoch of nomads (X - II cent. B.C.) were found on a great lumps in the heart of peninsula, also necropolis with over grave structures decorated by composite ornament were found here. Two old underground mosques built thousands years ago were found near the Ungazy mountain
The population of this town is 175 000 people. It is one of the perspective towns of the South-West Kazakhstan, built in 1960s of XX century on Mangyshlak peninsula. It is the center of oil and gas industry and the Caspian seaport. The only nuclear power station of the country is built not far from town with distilling installation. 
The interesting places: underground mosques (X – XII c.), necropolis (IX – XIX c.) in the territory of which there are many stone statues, Beket ata necropol, mausoleums, excavations of Kuskuduk (the ancient settlement in the territory of Kazakhstan), the territory of the ancient town Kyzyl-Kalda (X – XII c.), the town Fort-Shevchenko (building was began in XVII I c.), Karagie depression is to 132m lower of the ocean's level and the 3d deep hollow in the world, Mangystau desert, Caspian Sea.
